The RiverAlone I sit and watch the world as it slowly goes by. The river feels warm against my skin as it flows. The cool summer breeze kisses my face, As its soft fingers softly run through my hair. My tears drop like rain, running quietly down my cheeks. The river smoothly runs against my arms, and caresses my hands as it winds round them. It carries with it the sorrow deep in my heart, and slowly merges with my tears on the ground. The crimson water silences my soul and takes from me The painful nightmare that I call life.The River
